I just finished watching one of my all-time favorite movies, Round Midnight. I haven’t seen it in several years but I remember all the scenes and dialog still. The soundtrack is fantastic (Herbie Hancock won the Academy Award for it) and Dexter Gordon‘s performance is super (Academy Award Nominee). This time watching it though, I felt a lot more emotional during my favorite scenes, and at the end I had a tear in my eye. The tune “Chan’s Song” is just amazing too…
