“Quick Dinner” Cedar Park, 2019
こんばんは。How’s it going?
Tonight’s dinner that my wife made for us was delicious as usual, but what is interesting is that the main dish is a backup. Mariko started to prepare a fish dish, but the frozen whitefish fell apart in the pan and didn’t taste right. So she threw it out and prepared the dish you see in the photo above seemingly out of thin air. I don’t know how she does it. To me, it’s such an amazing skill to be able to look at what we have in our fridge, then find a recipe in a minute or two, and finally possessing the skill to actually put it all together.
I don’t like to brag, but hey, I’m going to have to brag today! 😆 I have the best wife if the world.

Well, you’re very lucky to enjoy your wife’s kitchen. It is not so common that they can solve a dinner with what is left in a refrigerator. you have to have a special ability to do it. The photo says that it was very tasty.
