I mostly make mine or mom does, especially since the pandemic! The patties I crave are really sold up here, unfortunately. You can get beef patties anywhere, but I’ve never seen shrimp or lobster patties here.

I miss Jamaican food… there are a couple of Jamaican restaurants where we live so we might have to try them out. And I really crave patties (always).

It seems to work best as saltfish in Jamaican dishes and then sucks at fitting into everything else.
