Tonight’s Curry Secret Ingredient

Tonight we had a sweet and spicy curry for dinner. The “secret” ingredient was Buc-ee’s Candied Jalapeño. It seems like everybody’s curry recipe should have a secret ingredient to make it unique, and I think that is pretty cool.

Mariko always makes our curry for the family, but next time, I’d like to try making it (with her help). That way, I can try to find my own secret ingredient as well as helping out with more meal prep.

Anyways, I’ve taken many curry photos over the years, but the photo below is one style that I don’t usually share. It’s of the second helping which doesn’t look as nice, but probably tastes even better than the first serving. 😊

  1. I’d still eat that, no matter how messy it looks! I’ve heard good things about Buc-cee’s, and it’s actually a destination I’d like to check out in Texas (even if it’s a gas station)!
