I went out for an evening run around the neighborhood tonight and ended up spending half the time looking up. The clouds were gorgeous, and with the sun setting, the colors were something else. I even caught a few birds flying in front of one of the clouds, and an airplane streaking right past the moon. Not a bad way to end the day.

After work this evening I laced up my shoes and headed out for a run. The clouds were putting on quite a show, and I kept glancing up to admire them as I made my way along.

It’s been a couple of months since I’ve been running regularly, so I struggled a bit. Still, I managed to make it the entire route without stopping… except for the photo breaks to capture the beautiful clouds.

The weather shifted to crisp, clear air and plenty of sunshine, at least for part of the day. I managed to catch a beautiful stretch of sky during my short walk to the mailbox. Such a small moment, but it was so pretty.

On today’s run, I couldn’t help but notice the cool, rippled pattern of these altocumulus clouds overhead. I stopped to snap the photo above, totally taken in by how textured and almost endless the sky looked.

Then I turned around and saw a dramatically different sky in the opposite direction. Same run, same moment, completely different feeling. How cool is that? Have you ever noticed how the sky can feel like two different worlds just by turning around?

I got home after picking up dinner and saw the last bit of sunlight glowing on the clouds to the south. It was absolutely beautiful! I’m amazed at how well my iPhone 15 Pro captured the scene. Pretty impressive for a quick snapshot!

The lunchtime run is so much nicer when there are pretty clouds drifting by. They make the sky look beautiful and give a little break from the harsh sun too!

Two quick snaps of today’s sky. We had a little rain earlier, but it cleared up into a pleasant, cooler evening. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts because the forecast says we’ll be back up to 100°F before long!

It’s been a while since Piplup and I went for a ride! I wasn’t in the mood for running today but still wanted to get outside, so I aired up Piplup’s tires, filled a water bottle, and we set off. It was just a neighborhood ride, yet it was still a lot of fun. Bicycles really are such wonderful machines! And just look at those clouds!
