Tonight we had oden for dinner. We normally save this dish for the winter months when it’s cold outside and we want something warm and comforting, but Mariko had the craving, so she ordered an oden set from Weee! and added egg and tofu to round it out. It was delicious!

When we’re hanging out in the living room in the evening, I can see the sky starting to turn colors through the window. When it goes orange, pink, and purple like this, I know it’s time to head upstairs to the loft window and see what kind of shots I can get. Tonight was pretty nice!

Today we visited Banh Mi Oven to pick up sandwiches for lunch. Banh mi is so good! We usually get one with pâté, and the meat varies each time. This was my first visit to Banh Mi Oven though, and I’d say pretty good!

I visited my eye doctor recently and got a new prescription for my glasses. I’ve been using eyebuydirect the past few years, but this time I went with eyeconic since it links directly to my insurance, making it easy to use my employer vision benefits.

I found some frames I really liked, and I am happy to report that they fit great and the lenses are wonderful. Ordering glasses online can be a little hit or miss, but I am thrilled to have hit the jackpot with these.

We got a new box today, and Yuzu had to check it out right away. It’s a little snug for her, so she probably won’t spend much time in it, but she gave it a good try.

I’ve been watching the Korean dorama Castaway Diva</em> lately, and it’s a lot of fun. The story has so many twists, though. Episode 7 especially packed a lot in. If you’re looking for something to watch, I’d definitely give it a look.

Yuzu fits herself into this box pretty snugly, but Anko needs to keep her head above water. She’s a bit on the chonkier side. To her credit though, she commits fully.
