After being on the road for a couple of months, Koa was finally home. Mariko made his favorite food, karaage, to celebrate. Karaage nites are always great.

Today we celebrated my son’s birthday with a double-fried chicken dinner. One plate of regular Japanese karaage, and another plate with a sauce poured on top. Both were delicious!
And we also had a yummy Niçoise salad and cheese board. We ate so much! 😄

I think the fryer above is a genius design. So clever!
