This is a photo from the end of August 2015 when I went on a business trip to Stockholm. The city is beautiful, especially because it is on the water, where reflections can highlight the city and bridges, making for some wonderful photo opportunities. I am not sure exactly how much distance I covered during the days I had free, but the city is so walk-able that it I found it impossible not to just wander around the city. In fact, there were a couple of times where I stepped outside the hotel doors, chose a direction and just started walking. There are even some fantastic routes for running right in the middle of the city, which is so convenient. If you ever have the chance to visit Stockholm, you should!

I recently went on a business trip to Stockholm and on my day off I visited Moderna Museet (Museum of Modern Art). I haven’t been to an art museum in some time, so coming here brought back memories of the time in my life when I frequented LACMA and MOCA in Los Angeles. I really enjoyed the museum in Stockholm, especially the opportunity to view some Picassos that I studied in art school. And I was pleasantly surprised to find Modigliani’s “Seated Woman in Blue Dress”! I love this painting!

Photo info: FUJIFILM X100T, 23mm, f/5.6, 1/90 sec, ISO6400
Modigliani and Picasso

This particular gallery was so overwhelming to me, with a nice selection of cubist and modernist paintings. I spent about half an hour just in this space alone. It was a highlight of this particular trip to Sweden!

Last week I went on my first business trip ever, and it was a fantastic one! The trip was to Stockholm, Sweden. Not only was the work really productive, but exploring the city was really fun as well. One of the highlights was that my coworker and I went for an evening run along a popular route. That was super! We also ate a lot of traditional food and sampled many local beers. What a great trip! Below are some of the photos I took.

Photo info: FUJIFILM XF1, 9.7mm, f/3.6, 1/20 sec, ISO400
We were walking to dinner and had to stop several times to take photos of this amazing sunset over Stockholm.
