I first thought the “Where’s the food” line on the restaurant wall at Della’s Kitchen was amusing, but then it became maddening since our food didn’t appear for a long time. In fact, we complained that it was taking so long and, to their credit, the restaurant gave us a discount and some free croissants and pastries. Yay!

“O” Las Vegas, 2023
Tonight we saw the Cirque Du Soleil show “O” at the Bellagio. What an amazing show! The stage was so cool because the floor surface would descend and be replaced by water, and the performers could swim and dive into it. But then the floor would come back up in sections so that the performers could “walk on water”. It was fascinating!
I also appreciated that the music is performed live, and you can see the singers and musicians doing their magic in the booth (and sometimes the singers would come down to the stage). It was particularly fun for me to watch the bassist. 😀
I definitely recommend the show!
Shark Reef and Celebrity Sighting
“Shark and Turtle” Las Vegas, 2023
This morning we visited Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. I enjoyed it a lot! The sharks and turtles were so fun to look at. I could have watched them for hours!
In the evening, we were having dinner when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar showed up at the restaurant to take part in an event for the NBA Convention, which was happening at the same time/location as where we were staying. It was cool to see a legend!

Took a break from the casina (sort of) and played some games at the arcade at Excalubur. Not quite as smoky there, so that was nice! 😊
Reunion Time
“Vegas View” Las Vegas, 2023
We arrived in Las Vegas and met up with our extended family. With friends included, there were about 150 of us. It was great to catch up with old family members and meet new ones. There’s always someone new to learn about.
I didn’t take many photos this trip, but I didn’t mind. I was just happy to be there and enjoy the company of my family. 😁
