My mom is visiting us for a few days, so we have an extra pair of slippers at the bottom of the stairs. My black slippers look so unattractive compared to my mom’s and Mariko’s cute slippers, don’t they?
It’s hard to believe that my oldest son is already receiving his degree! It seems like just yesterday that he began his collegiate career… time sure flies.
But, he still has a couple of years before he receives his Architecture degree, so after a year of working at an architectural firm, he’ll go back to school to finish up. I’m so happy for him!
May 5 is こどもの日 / Kodomo no hi / Children’s Day in Japan. Even though our kids are not small anymore, we still put the koinobori out every year.
I still wear my Star Wars shirt every May 4th. It’s several years old, but I still love it!
