AUS to DFW to…

We headed out early this morning and made our way to Austin–Bergstrom Airport to start our trip. Once we got through security, our first stop was the Admiral’s Club lounge for a little treat. It was only seven in the morning, but a glass of sauvignon blanc felt absolutely perfect. It is an airport after all.

Our quick hop up to DFW was calm and easy, and we had a couple of hours to enjoy yet another lounge. This time we were able to visit the Flagship Lounge, which was super nice. Right when we walked in, they welcomed us with champagne or mimosas, and of course we said yes. We grabbed a light lunch before it was time to board our next flight, which would last more than eight hours. Thankfully, we were upgraded to business class and had our own sleeper seats.

After one more meal and a round of drinks, I settled in with a couple of episodes of Who Rules the World before drifting off to sleep. Good night!
