“Fondue” Cedar Park, 2024
This year it was just Mariko and I for our traditional fondue. Bay is in New York, and Koa was busy so… more fondue for us! 😁

I spent the day at an event and the commute was about 45 minutes each way. It was okay because I had a nice audiobook to listen to, and some decent scenery to look at such as the Pennybacker Bridge. Still, my preference is definitely work-from-home. 😀

My mom sent a text to the family telling us to make sure to eat noodles today for Lunar New Year. As this was our last day on Maui and we were running out of time, we decided to get saimin. Well, we thought McDonald’s would have it, but they took saimin off their Hawaii menu back in 2022. So we went back to 7-11, where we were just at to buy musubi to bring home, and picked up a bowl of microwaveable saimin. It was actually pretty good! And now we’re gonna have good luck for the next year. 😀 🐉
