I stepped away from my morning pages for a minute, and when I came back, I saw Yuzu using it as a pillow. Or maybe she’s keeping it safe for me? I don’t know. Cats!
Yuzu was hanging out in Lani’s bedroom. Lani doesn’t mind, surprisingly. Yuzu is such a brave cat.
The weather turned autumnal today, with a cold front bringing rain and grey skies. I had to bring my pepper plants inside, which made me feel a little down. Today’s photo is of our flour container, a dark but hopeful symbol of yummy treats to come. Just waiting…
I was relaxing on the sofa watching some tv when Anko and Yuzu got into a little spat. Some punches were thrown, hisses were made, but no injuries reported. About half an hour later they were lovey-dovey once again. 😊
My son and his girlfriend made some deliciously spooky pizzas for Halloween, including black cat, skeleton, and zombie pizzas. They used my wife’s easy one-bowl pizza dough recipe, which made the process even more fun. Yummmm!
I returned to the office today for the first time in ages. On my desk, I found a note from a coworker who recently left the company. I’ve worked with him for 18 years (he was there when I started), so it was a bittersweet surprise. 🙁
I love the skies at this time of evening.
