My mom an I both have October birthdays, and this year both our drivers licenses were up for renewal. I only had to go to the DMV to get a new photo and take an eye test, but my mom had to take an online class and quiz. She did great, though, and got 100% on the quiz! Woohoo!

Today I enjoyed a big bowl of ramen at Jidaiya. It was delicious! I was going to meet a friend here, but at the last moment, he had to reschedule for Friday. Since I had already arrived at the parking lot, I figured I would just go ahead and eat. I love ramen so much, I won’t mind coming back in a couple days.
My brother plays in a local hockey (inline skate) league so my mom and I went to watch. It looked really fun, but tiring! For a second I though about buying a pair of skates, but then quickly decided against it. I have enough going on in my life already. 😁
This evening my Mom told me that the sky was lit up with purple and pink, so we went outside to admire the colors. Apparently the neighbors were also impressed since many were outside taking photos too! It was truly breathtaking.
