Mariko and I are flying up to Indianapolis to watch Koa’s drum corp compete in the DCI World Championships. It’s the second time we’re going to watch the Blue Devils, and our fingers are crossed that they wrap up their season undefeated again. Let’s go!!

Several years ago, my friend and I purchased and assembled a couple of Victoria remote controlled sailboats. It was a lot of fun to build and sail! But my boat has been sitting idle for a long time now, so it’s time to put her up for sale… Hopefully she can find a good home and be back on the water soon.
We went to a “beer garden” event today at a friends restaurant. It wasn’t outdoors (so hot!), but we enjoyed yummy beer from Kyoto, handmade onigiri, and delicious Japanese izakaya-style food. What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Cheers!
