With tequila, orange juice, and grenadine syrup on hand, we figured, why not make a tequila sunrise? They’re so pretty! But honestly, the taste was just okay – I’d choose a margarita over a tequila sunrise any day.
We had a small Thanksgiving dinner tonight for five people. This year’s turkey was slow-roasted and turned out pretty good! It seems like every year I try something different. 😁 As usual, my favorite dish was the oyster dressing. That, with some gravy on top, is so good!

Today, I picked up A Closed and Common Orbit from the library. It’s the second book in Becky Chambers’ Wayfarers series. I absolutely loved the first book, so I’m excited to dive back into this universe. Plus, it’ll be a nice change of pace to read from a physical book instead of a screen!
