“Indian Dinner” Cedar Park, 2024
daily slice-of-life photo blog of a Gen-X dad
Patrick’s blog post reminded me that we have an ultrasonic cleaner too, so I took the opportunity to clean all my eyeglasses. They’re crystal clear now!
Today, Kiki and I went for a ride to the café. I was excited to test out a new camera mode on my DJI Action 4, but things didn’t go quite as planned – I accidentally switched the exposure settings to manual, which resulted in all the footage being overexposed and completely unusable. Lesson learned!
On the bright side, the coffee at the café was fantastic, so the trip wasn’t a total loss. 😅
I swapped out the band on my Seiko SNK809 today. The new band has a similar style but attaches directly to the lugs, unlike my previous NATO-style band. This allows the watch body to sit directly on my wrist, giving it a slimmer profile and a more comfortable fit. Plus, with the see-through case back, I can enjoy watching the mechanical movement in action. I absolutely love it!
It’s amusing how camera gear itself makes for such great photo subjects. Taking a picture of a sleek digital camera using an iPhone feels a bit ironic, doesn’t it?
That said, here are two of my favorite lenses: the 43mm for everyday use and the ultra-wide for streaming.
