Whenever I see Altostratus or Cirrocumulus clouds, I always think they look like the cheese on the pizza that they served at the little league baseball fields near our house when I was growing up. It’s just one of those things that triggers distant memories. And makes me hungry for pizza. 😆

I’ve loved the design of the Subaru XV Crosstrek ever since I first saw it years ago, and since I’ve bought one, I love it even more. It seems I’m not the only one who does, as there are plenty of Crosstreks on the road here in Austin.

This photo was taken in the parking lot at BookPeople/REI (my Crosstrek is the blue one in the background). After dropping off Koa at rehearsal, I’ll often browse the camping gear and then read while sipping a coffee at the bookstore. Always a relaxing evening. 😊

こんばんは。

Koa and the other members of his high school’s percussion ensemble competed today, and they celebrated afterwards with a little movie party at our house. I didn’t know how many kids would be over, but it turned out to be a total of 10. I’m still marveling at how they all could gather around the TV, seemingly comfortably. Oh to be young again!
