“Bagel Brunch” Torrance, 2025
You know what’s always on the menu when we visit my family in California? Delicious bagels with all the fixings! Can’t complain!

While helping my parents clean out some old gear, I came across a few vintage cameras they were ready to part with. I decided to keep the compact Nikon point-and-shoot digital camera. It’s incredibly portable and surprisingly fun to use for casual photography.
They also had an old film camera, which looks cool, but I’m not interested in going back to film photography. I grew up shooting with 35mm film, and I definitely don’t miss the cost or the waiting involved with developing rolls.
There was also a Canon digital camera, but unfortunately, its lens got stuck in the extended position and no longer works. It’s a shame because those older Canon digicams can take great photos.
Thankfully, the Nikon is still fully functional and performing well. It’s a great reminder that even older digital cameras can be excellent tools for everyday photography and creative projects.
