While on my evening bicycle ride, I spotted some strange clouds off in the distance I. We occasionally have wildfires here in central Texas, but after checking the news, the nearest one was in a different direction. So, it’s kind of a mystery what these were.

Surprisingly, I still see new and interesting things while riding around the neighborhood. This cool Volkswagen bus mailbox caught my eye. Mariko loves the old VWs, so I had to stop and take a photo. 😀

こんにちは！

I decided to shift my Instagram account subject matter to just pictures of the clouds (and sky), since I am pretty convinced that they are my favorite things to take pictures of. My Instagram has been a mix of clouds, travel, and food, but I think I’ll just focus on the one subject. I’ll keep all my old photos, including my earliest where Instagram meant spontaneous snapshots, just for history’s sake.

Anyways, we’ll see how it goes! I’m not very active there, with the main effort being this blog, and then my daily photo post on Flickr. But Instagram is still fun to browse and see what friends and family are up to!

Adding Strava Stats to Photos

I was browsing a bicycling subreddit and came across some photos that included the Strava statistics. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to create one, so I reached out to one of the posters of the thread and he told me that I had to Share an activity in Strava, and then can choose the photo or map. Worked like a charm! I don’t know how often I will use it, but I think it’s pretty neat.

Here’s another cloud photo that I took on my run. I really like clouds, btw. 😜
