Today I took a break from my normal afternoon coffee and had some tea. It was delicious! This tea is from Taiwan and I enjoyed three cups of it. I think I might make this a habit as it seems like a more natural way to transition to the later part of the day. 🍵

The toppings for the first pie in tonight’s pizza class was kalua pig with jalapeño peppers and red onion. It was yummy, with just the right amount of oil from the pork. We haven’t had pizza in a few weeks so it was good to “pig” out on it. 🐷🍕❤

We got this small 14cm-sized pot with lid which is excellent for making Korean noodles. It fits a regular Shin Ramyun perfectly, and the lid makes it easy to cook an egg in your noodles to your desired doneness.
But what makes this pot truly valuable is that it looks so nice that you don’t feel bad about eating straight out of it. I actually don’t mind eating out of a pot, but I have to admit that it is a little tacky. Maybe okay for a college student, but for people of a certain age, it’s just not good. 😂

Today Mariko and I visited a brewhouse for lunch, and then joined some friends for a sunset dinner in the Texas Hill Country. This was my first time eating out since March of last year, and it was a little weird at first, but I got used to it quickly. The cold beer helped! 😊🍻
Honestly, seeing friends again was like no time has passed. I guess that’s a good thing, but maybe not? I don’t know, but I do know that I enjoy eating and drinking out.
