The weather was so nice this evening that I decided to go for a neighborhood ride with Kiki. So fun!

Ready to Ride

“Kiki Ready” Cedar Park, 2025
The Texas winter was quite mild, allowing me to ride with Kiki often while many motorcycles across the country were stored away for the season. I’m also incredibly grateful for my battery charger, which kept Kiki ready to go whenever I wanted!
Night Ride with Kiki

I went for a nice ride with Kiki tonight. The weather was so nice and warm, so why not? Please enjoy (click here to watch).
New Keychain

“Kiki Keychain” Cedar Park, 2025
I got a new keychain for my motorcycle, and it feels perfect since my bike is named Kiki. The keychain is crafted from meltable plastic pieces, giving it a pixel-art vibe. I absolutely love it!
Freezing Tradition

“Chilly Day” Cedar Park, 2025
I kept up my quirky tradition of riding my motorcycle when the temperature dips below freezing. It’s such a ridiculous thing to do, but still a lot of fun! Kiki’s heated handgrips seem like they’d be amazing, but they’re just okay. They keep your palms warm and toasty, but the rest of your body – and even the backs of your hands – stays frozen. 🥶

Charging Cable for Kiki

“Charging Port” Cedar Park, 2025
I can’t believe it took me 14 years (give or take) to finally buy the adapter that lets me charge Kiki’s battery through the little port on the side. The cable was only $12, and it’s a total game-changer! Before this, I had to unlock the tail trunk with the key, pull a lever to remove the seat, and then attach alligator clips to the battery terminal. This new setup saves so much hassle!
New Riding Jacket
A few weeks ago, I picked up a new riding jacket. My old one, which I used for cold weather, was literally falling apart — the reflective striping had disintegrated. I took that as my cue to upgrade. Luckily, I found a great Revit! jacket on sale at CycleGear, and it fits perfectly! Bonus: it has seven pockets.
I really like the color of the jacket, but it doesn’t quite match my tinted visor. I’m considering switching to a silver or maybe a gold visor. Silver might be the better choice, though. Hmmm… decisions, decisions!
