Last night we went to a farewell party for one of our friends. He will be returning to Japan after studying for 6 months at the University of Texas at Austin. We’ll miss him (I was really fond of him!) but hopefully we can meet him someday in Japan, or when he visits the States again.

I’ve recently gotten interested in live-streaming on Twitch. I’ve followed a few people who have “co-working” live-streams where they just work, and the live-stream helps keep them accountable. Viewers can also work at the same time and it’s like a little co-working team. Fun!
I am so interested in it that I took the extra step and set up my own live-stream, which alternates between working, and a ukulele break. 😀 🎶
I have also started using the Pomodoro method of working for 25 minutes, then taking a 5 minute break. This is also common amongst co-working live-streamers and I have to say that it has improved my productivity. And it makes the work day go by quickly.

I bought a new watch: the Timex Snoopy Baseball Weekender. As MLB’s spring training gets underway, I got excited about purchasing this watch which I have been looking at for a long time. It’s not expensive, but the level of joy it sparks is way up there! I mean, who doesn’t love Snoopy?
I replaced the red strap with a black and grey strap, and it looks great. I’m looking forward to enjoying wearing the new watch for years to come.

The weather was perfect today for a lunchtime run around the neighborhood. I noticed a lot of trees were coming alive after the chilly winter. Spring is a nice season in Texas. I even saw a few bluebonnets starting to show their colors!
