Movies and Drinks

“Movie Time” Cedar Park, 2021

Today I watched a couple of movies: Still Walking / 歩いても歩いても and My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday / ぼくは明日、昨日のきみとデートする. I had seen the former a few years ago, but I only realized it about halfway through, so I watched it all the way through again. It’s very good.

The other movie, My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday, is a “time-slip” movie, in which timelines get mixed up because of time-travel or some other extraordinary circumstance. This one was a real tear-jerker, and while it takes place over the span of only 30 days, it’s so heartbreaking that you better have the tissue box ready. 😭 I enjoyed it a lot.

Before the movies, I stopped by the store to replenish our supply of liquor. I haven’t had whiskey in a long time, so that was number one on my list. How nice it is to sip on whiskey and watch a good movie!!

Errands with Camera

I went to get Mariko’s car’s yearly inspection done, and took my camera to fiddle with while I waited. But they were done with the inspection so quickly, that I just ended up snapping a couple photos.
