The temperatures in Texas are dropping fast, so a hot and spicy bowl of Thai curry feels extra satisfying right now. It is the perfect way to warm up from the inside out. Spicy, comforting, and exactly what the day called for.

A new Thai restaurant named Lemongrass opened recently near us, and I saw that you can choose the spiciness level from 1-10. This got me excited because with a scale like that, it must mean they are serious about the level of heat, right? And since CoCo Ichibanya also has a 1-10 scale, it would be fun to compare.
With that in mind, I went ahead and ordered a level 10 Panang Curry, and Bay ordered a level Green Curry. Both were delicious! But, I am sorry to report that the spiciness level was a bit too mild for me. The level 10 was probably equal to a 5 or 6 at CoCo. 😒
Oh well, the curries were really good, nonetheless, and the rest of the menu looks great as well. I can’t wait to try more dishes from Lemongrass!
