I’m currently in Los Angeles visiting family, but next week, my son and I are hitting the road back to Texas, with a car full of his belongings from his semester in California.
We made a stop at Lily’s in Dayton for breakfast before our flight, and it was a great choice. I highly recommend the steak omelette and smashed potatoes.
Tonight was an incredible experience! We got to watch our son, Koa, perform with RCC at the WGI Championships in Dayton, Ohio. Their show was absolutely amazing – a truly record-breaking performance! We were so thrilled to be there and share in this moment. So proud! Check out the video below:
This evening, we enjoyed dinner at Sueño, a very popular restaurant known for its gourmet Mexican food and cocktails. Although it was busy, we were able to find seating at the bar. We had the pollo al carbon and papas, which were delicious! I highly recommend Sueño and plan to visit again.
We’re on our way to Dayton, Ohio to watch Koa compete in the WGI Percussion Championships! On the way, we traveled through Charlotte, which is where I snapped this photo. Oh, I also saw my blog’s name at the airport!
