“Tea Selection” Cedar Park, 2023
I’m trying to drink more tea (and less coffee) so Mariko picked out a few teas for me to drink. Maybe she just wants to get rid of them. I don’t know for sure, but I’m happy to help out!

Mariko taught a burger and buns class today, which meant we had burgers for dinner! They were delish. :)
We bought a poblano pepper but I forgot all about it. Oh well. I’ll roast it anyways for sandwiches or something.

One vegetable that I really like is Gobo. Do you know what that is? It’s also called burdock root and it’s very healthy for your digestion. It’s a real win-win to find a delicious and healthy food, isn’t it?

Today was our last day on Maui, but since we were taking the red-eye flight in the late afternoon, we had some time to do a few last-minute things. That included lunch at the Ono Teppanyaki and Seafood truck, followed by a quick visit to Kanaha Beach. The shrimp and ahi were delicious, and the beach was lovely. I wish we had enough time to go for a swim, but we’ll have to do that next time.
Thank you Maui. Mahalo and aloha!

This afternoon we stopped by Ululani’s in Kahului for some shave ice. I got the Local Motion, which had mango, pineapple, and li hing mui syrup. And then I got haupia ice cream underneath. It was so good! Definitely recommend, although maybe next time I’ll get a keiki (kid) size. :)
