This morning we visited Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. I enjoyed it a lot! The sharks and turtles were so fun to look at. I could have watched them for hours!
In the evening, we were having dinner when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar showed up at the restaurant to take part in an event for the NBA Convention, which was happening at the same time/location as where we were staying. It was cool to see a legend!
Took a break from the casina (sort of) and played some games at the arcade at Excalubur. Not quite as smoky there, so that was nice! 😊
We arrived in Las Vegas and met up with our extended family. With friends included, there were about 150 of us. It was great to catch up with old family members and meet new ones. There’s always someone new to learn about.
I didn’t take many photos this trip, but I didn’t mind. I was just happy to be there and enjoy the company of my family. 😁
We’re flying to Las Vegas tomorrow to attend a family reunions, so I prepared some sandwiches for us to enjoy on the plane. They are just ham, cheese, lettuce, and avocado… nothing that should be offensive to others’ sense of smell, although I did joke that I should put some kimchee in the bag as well. 😀
We went to a potluck party and enjoyed some yummy food and drinks. I particularly liked the designs on these two, both from Niigata. The napping bear is so great.
