Our deck garden is looking good so far! The pepper plants are in various stages of growth… some are huge, and some still tiny. I am still optimistic about a good harvest, but the 100+° F heat can’t be too good for them. Crossing my fingers.
I saw these sunflowers a couple of weeks ago while running, and they were still going strong today. I guess they don’t mind the 100° F days we’ve been having!
Mariko asked me what I’d like to have for a belated Father’s Day dinner so I requested one of my favorite foods, oyakodon. I love this simple dish so much! 😋
Note I’m posting this out of order, but I want to not fall too far behind on my daily posts. We’re back from Jamaica and I’ll be posting each day’s activities the coming week.
Today we had a long travel day, leaving Norse Hill at 3 am to make the trek to Kingston to catch our 8 am flight. But all went well and we’re back home. On the way back to the house, I asked Bay to stop by In-N-Out for a burger. I was craving big time!
