Here’s a photo of Koa and his buddies playing video games. He had a bunch of friends (6; all boys) over to hang out, eat pizza, and generally goof off. It was pretty fun, as far as I could tell from all the laughing. I think it’s pretty easy to take care of boys… or maybe it’s just because I have no idea what girls his age do for fun when they get together. ♂ It’s a huge mystery.
Anyways, video games, kicking the soccer ball around at the park, and pigging-out on pizza are easy things for me to understand. ⚽️

Splatfest!
Yay, Splatfest has begun! I am really enjoying Splatoon 2 on the Switch. It’s so fun! And today when I started the game, the square was a huge dance party. It’s very cool I could watch Pearl and Marina all day. And the Inklings have some nice dance moves too. Very cool!

For the US Splatfest, there’s a Halloween theme and the teams are Vampire vs. Werewolf. I chose Team Werewolf, so if you see Sachiモン in-game, that’s me! I have to say, Splatoon is one of my favorite games because A) I don’t suck, B) the clothing options are really cool and cute, and C) the weapons are so varied and fun.

Missing Piece
“Body-chan” Cedar Park, 2017
Hello!
Today I received a “Body-chan” poseable figurine for drawing. It’s pretty cool and you can pose it in so many anime-style positions. It even includes props like a laptop, cellphone, sword, gun, etc. And maybe about 10 different hands. The bummer is that a critical piece is missing: the piece that connects the support to the stand. Without it, the figure cannot be held up vertically. 😤 I’ve contacted customer support to see if I can get a replacement part, but I’m not too hopeful since it was imported from overseas and it took so long to receive in the first place. I guess I need to figure out a new way to rig it up.

For tonight’s sketch, I looked at a reference photo of Koshiba Fuka 小芝風花 for the hair, but the face I drew from scratch. I’m happy with how it turned out! 😄
