Kiki and I went for a ride this afternoon. It was super-hot out, which is not very pleasant when wearing motorcycle gear. At least when we’re moving, it’s not too bad, but stopping to take photos is when I start sweating. It’s more relaxing on the motorcycle than off in the summer!
We postponed our Independence Day grilling to the next day because we attended a party on the Fourth. Today, we grilled burgers and I opted for a chili-cheeseburger using some chili we had in the freezer. It was messy and delicious! Definitely top-tier comfort food.

Today, we attended a party at a friend’s house. Many of our friends work in the food industry, so the dishes they brought were incredibly delicious! My favorites were the tamagoyaki — both flavors were amazing! I ate way too many of them.
Yuzu has really started hunting socks with a vengeance!
I can’t to wait to enjoy the fresh shokupan that Mariko made for her class today. I’m so spoiled!!
I enjoyed a delightful ride to the park today. With no one else around, I had the chance to snap a photo at the skatepark. I used to come here with my boys and skate. It was always lots of fun, even for beginners!
