We celebrated an early Father’s Day dinner at Kane, an upscale sushi restaurant near our home. It was our first visit, and we had heard great things, so we were both excited. We ordered two sushi rolls and uni pasta, and everything was delicious! Although the restaurant is reservation-only, we managed to slip in at 5 PM — lucky us! Our verdict: the food is delicious and fancy, but a bit on the expensive side.
For Mother’s Day we had a couple of friends over to our house to eat temaki sushi. It’s so fun to make your own sushi hand-rolls, and of course it’s so delicious! In addition, Mariko made some karaage, and I made cocktails. A fun dinner!
Mariko and my son’s girlfriend made korokke for dinner. They tasted so good! But how come the less-pretty ones ended up on my plate? How does that happen?! 😂 Still, they were delicious, crispy, and creamy.
Sometimes you just want some curry. 💛🍛
Simple and delicious! The bones take a bit of care to avoid, but it’s worth the effort.
We took our youngest son for sushi for his birthday dinner. It was so yummy! Sushi is definitely a favorite on the birthday circuit in this family. 😁
Curry nites are the best nites. This one is will thinly sliced pork. Very nice! And of course with egg.
