I went for a little ride with Kiki around the neighborhood. I found this new parking lot that is right next to a creek. I saw a couple people fishing there, so I am excited to come back with my fishing gear. Hopefully I have some good luck.

Since my motorcycle, Kiki, has some fresh oil, I decided to go for a ride out to some country roads. We headed north from our house to Bertram and then wandered around the two-lane roads for an hour or so. It was really fun, but it started getting hot at around 10:30 am so we quickly made a beeline back home to relax in the air-conditioning. It’s too hot this summer…
I took care of an oil change for my motorcycle today. It was a sweat-fest in the garage since we’ve been having triple-digit temperatures here in Texas, but I am so glad I got it done. The old oil was pretty gross so I’m sure Kiki appreciates the TLC!
The weather warmed up enough that I could enjoy a nice motorbike ride this afternoon. It was super-fun and I even rode on some new streets which were pretty fun! The stretch of road from the photos had a few nice curves and wildflowers to enjoy. What a nice Saturday afternoon. 😜
I got Kiki inspected at the local mechanic today. They are so fast, and a few of the technicians also ride, so it’s fun to chat with them. Motorcycle inspections are only US $7 here in Texas. I don’t know how much they are in other states, but it can’t be much cheaper, right?
Anyways, I bought some motor oil and a filter so I will do an oil change soon. I love my motorbike so much, but I know there’ll come a day when we’ll have to part ways. But for now, let’s enjoy riding together!
Today I went for a nice ride around town with Kiki, my motorbike. I didn’t bring my GoPros so I was just focused on riding and having a good time. I rode over to downtown Austin, then took Lamar Blvd north all the way to Parmer and then back home. The beautiful weather made it a perfect day to be out with Kiki!
