Another cat post! Our two cats are sisters and they both like to relax in cardboard boxes, but Anko needs space to stretch out, while Yuzu loves to squeeze into tight spaces. They have their own individual tastes, which is so interesting to me.

While I work, Yuzu likes to keep me company. Since I use a mouse and another keyboard, I don’t mind if she rests on the laptop a bit. And sometimes when she sees me moving the mouse around, she’ll copy me:

Cats are so funny.

Yuzu brought me her catch today. I thought the poor little lizard might still be alive, but no, he was limp and definitely a goner so I put the body outside for the birds to take away. The circle of life… 🎶

Yuzu likes to hang out with me while I work, and in this photo, she’s right on the boundary of where I allow her to go. The area in front of the monitor (and laptop when it’s out) is off limits to her, not only because she blocks the view, but there are some little cubbyholes above the monitor with some small figurines that she likes to knock down and run off with. Of course, when I’m not in the room, there’s no one to enforce these limits so things occasionally go missing. 😐

But that’s life with cats! 😺
