I love when a cloud passes over (or under?) the sun. Not only does it keep my cool, but it makes for some pleasant lighting all around.

Today’s photo above was taken on the hike & bike trail which I like to run on during the day. I just happened that Path of the Wind came on my playlist and I was reminded of the giant camphor tree from Tonari no Totoro. 😀

We went to see the Bruce Munro’s Field of Light installation at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. It was very cool!

The field is difficult to capture with a camera, but I did have fun with a bunch of de-focused images. If you have a chance to see Field of Light, I recommend it.

We had a dinner party, and the guest of honor requested Indian food, so my wife and her friends prepared an amazing feast for her. Since it was a “girls’ night”, I ate my plate of food in the kitchen while watching Splatoon videos. 😄

Quick Yakiniku Dinner

Tonight we enjoyed a simple sliced pork yakiniku. It was yummy and very easy to make! All the ingredients are readily available, and the dipping sauce for the meat is just sesame oil and salt. We prefer to have larger leaf lettuce, but we just used what we had left in the fridge, and sliced half an onion and two jalapeños. Kimchee and mozzarella cheese round out the meal. Simple and delicious! 😀
