A few days ago our neighbor borrowed a couple of eggs, and today they surprised us with farm-fresh eggs in a little box, complete with a handwritten note from one of their kids. It was such a sweet gesture and honestly the note made it extra adorable!

Movie Night
“The Boy and the Beast” Austin, 2025
Tonight my friend and I went to see The Boy and the Beast at Alamo Drafthouse, and it was such a treat! The movie was both fun and hilarious, with a story that felt wildly imaginative from start to finish. I have no idea where Mamoru Hosoda dreams up these worlds, but I really hope he keeps them coming!
Sunday Ride
“Kiki” Cedar Park, 2025
I headed out for an early ride with Kiki today to get ahead of the heat. Cruising the local roads was such a blast, especially since some of them have those long, sweeping curves that are perfect for leaning into the ride.
To wrap things up, I found a quiet little road and spent some time practicing u-turns. I can feel myself getting better with each try. Always good to keep sharpening those skills!
