It was the perfect day for a pot of tea. So tasty and comforting. I loved every sip.

Mariko has been on my case about my habit of bringing home tea from hotels. We have so much tea! So, I’ve been making a pot or two a day and keeping it on my desk while I work. I’m loving it! I’m not sure how close we are to finishing it all, but I’d guess we still have a ton left.

My oldest son and his girlfriend love bubble tea, and they often offer to bring Mariko and me some when they go out. Tonight, I tried a colorful tea that tasted more like lemonade, and I couldn’t resist taking a photo of it before I stirred it up. It was so pretty!

I’m trying to drink more tea (and less coffee) so Mariko picked out a few teas for me to drink. Maybe she just wants to get rid of them. I don’t know for sure, but I’m happy to help out!

It’s very cold and grey in central Texas these days. I went for a run today, but it was too cold for me and I only ran 4 km. I prefer to stay in and drink large amounts of hot tea. 🍵♥️
