Note I’m posting this out of order, but I want to not fall too far behind on my daily posts. We’re back from Jamaica and I’ll be posting each day’s activities the coming week.
Today we had a long travel day, leaving Norse Hill at 3 am to make the trek to Kingston to catch our 8 am flight. But all went well and we’re back home. On the way back to the house, I asked Bay to stop by In-N-Out for a burger. I was craving big time!
Nice to be home…
Just look at this plate of food! My wife and her friends were celebrating another friend who just successfully finished up one of her business ventures. Her request for dinner was Indian food, and so a feast was prepared. And the bonus is that there are plenty of leftovers. 😋
It was yakiniku night at our house, so we broke out the grill pan and gas burner and went to town. One of our favorite meals, and lots of fun, too!
Can’t go wrong with a juicy burger! Macaroni salad and potato chips were the perfect complement.
Many people here in the States fire up the barbecue grill for Memorial Day, and I was no different this year. On the menu was char-siu-style chicken thighs. They are sweet and have a hint of Chinese five-spice for a distinctive char-siu flavor. Yummy!
