This one is Mariko’s, but I stole it. I actually had another one, a greyish one with black band, but I accidentally destroyed it trying to change the battery.

The other night, Mariko made a delicious omurice meal for us. For those not familiar with it, it is short for “Omelette” and “Rice” and is basically fried rice in an omelette, and topped with a ketchup sauce. While enjoying it, I got to thinking about an omurice restaurant in Shibuya that my friend Yukiko took me to, and which I visited a few more times. I couldn’t remember the name, but a quick Google search revealed it to be Rakeru. Man, I miss that place! It was so yummy and there was a surprisingly large menu. Next time I am back in Tokyo, I’d love to eat there again.

This was part of our dinner at Komé. It was so delicious of course!
