Comfort Food
“Spaghetti” Cedar Park, 2024
I made a pot of meatball sauce for spaghetti dinner today, and my brother said he also made the same thing! When we told our mom, she said she’ll also have spaghetti for dinner tonight. 😀
Next Notebook
“New Morning Pages” Cedar Park, 2024
For my next notebook to fill with Morning Pages, I will use this small A6-size journal that I bought from Muji in New York City several years ago. It’s so nice to be able to use these for a nice purpose.
Butterflies
“Butterflies” Cedar Park, 2024
I came back from my lunchtime run and saw several butterflies enjoying the flowers in the front yard. It sure smelled good! I don’t blame them from spending the afternoon there.
Surprise
“Ladybug” Cedar Park, 2024
This beautiful ladybug surprised me today! I haven’t seen one in a long time. I can’t remember the last time, actually!
This Year’s Crop
“Jalapeño Gigante” Cedar Park, 2024
The weather got warmer so I brought last year’s pepper plants outside, and also put the new peppers into pots. The new plants already have several peppers growing! I’d say another couple of weeks and we should be able to eat them. I’m not sure if the Scotch Bonnet plants from last year will bear fruit, but I couldn’t throw out perfectly healthy plants.

Japanese Fish Dinner
“Fish Dinner” Cedar Park, 2024
Simple and delicious! The bones take a bit of care to avoid, but it’s worth the effort.
