I enjoyed meeting my coworkers in person at the work event held at the Omni Hotel and Spa today. It was great to finally put faces to names and get to know them better. However, the 40-minute commute (one way) was not my favorite part. It was a long and tiring drive, but it made me appreciate being able to work from home.
My oldest son and his girlfriend love bubble tea, and they often offer to bring Mariko and me some when they go out. Tonight, I tried a colorful tea that tasted more like lemonade, and I couldn’t resist taking a photo of it before I stirred it up. It was so pretty!
Mariko had a couple of friends over to celebrate a birthday. Indian food was requested by the birthday girl, so a feast was prepared. And enjoyed! So good…
My pen collection is getting smaller as I look to see what I haven’t used and will probably never use. I have gotten some as gifts or just picked them up in random places, which is not good for someone who wants to declutter. I need to get better at this. 😁
I saw this art installation in someone’s front yard today. I like the little rock that says “Free Weeds”. 😂
