I wanted to let you know about a page I created that is focused on where I have traveled, and where I would like to travel to in the future. It’s called “Travel Checklist” and you can get to it from the navigation menu “List Love” at the top of the page.
I’ve also created a “Nomad Map” which links to some of my blog posts that are about travel destinations. It was fun to put the map together, and I’m looking forward to adding more! Check it out:

Happy travels!

🌐 Travel Checklist ☑️
I was inspired by the wonderful blog Annie Bananie en Europe and created a Travel Checklist of my own. I love to travel, and hope to check more off the list soon!
Here’s a map where I have pinned some of my travel blog posts. Use the arrows to scroll through the posts, or click on a map marker to see the post from that location.

こんばんは。How’s it going?
Today I made a pen and ink sketch of some of the main travel items I took on our trip to Morocco and Spain, I was inspired to do this after watching this video from an artist that I have been following on Youtube.
I think it turned out ok, but there are a few things I would change. For instance, I would sketch the items smaller, so I could fit more on the page. Also, I forgot a bunch of things that I should have included, for instance, my Kindle, headphones, notebook & pencil, and maybe my clothes. And the passport didn’t need that yellow part. 😅
Teoh Yi Chie’s packing lists are so cool, I want to create more packing lists, or even a “what’s in my bag” sketch. So fun!
Today I bought a few more art supplies, including two more watercolor tubes, a #8 brush, 3B pencil, and Micron pen. I still need to figure out how to create a nice grey color using the paints that I have… I don’t want to resort to using the pre-made grey or black paints… so I guess more testing and research is needed.
Hello! Today, Koa and I drove up to Arlington to catch the Angels play the Rangers. I didn’t have any Angels gear to wear (in support of my brother and his favorite team) so I wore my Dodgers cap. 😀
I was excited to see future Hall-of-Famer Albert Pujols play, but it was a coincidence that Yu Darvish would be pitching for the Rangers. And we got a treat because Pujols cranked a line-drive homer to left field in the first! Other than that, Darvish pitched well, but the Rangers just couldn’t score any runs for him.
We had a good time, and it was worth the long 3-hour drive up to see a major league game.

Well, I finally finished up with all my back posts of our trip! The photo above shows a few pieces of the loot haul, and in the dish is a small stone that I picked up from the water at Barceloneta beach. I don’t even know if it is imported or not, but the authenticity isn’t important. It’s the memory that it represents that gives it value. One of my favorite movie scenes explains what I mean.
Anyways, here are a couple lists I made about the trip.
Total miles traveled: 12,905
Plane: 11,273
Train: 921
Boat: 29
Bus/Taxi: 682
Highlights/Bucket List
First trip to Africa – That makes it four continents for me!
Crossing from Africa to Europe by ferry – The so-called Strait of Gibraltar have been one of those mythical things since I was a little kid
Touching the Mediterranean – Again, like something out of a dream. Isn’t this where the Greek gods/heroes used to play?
Top Food
Boquerones tapas (fried sardines)
Tagine
Papas bravas
Almejas tapas (clams)
Jamón bocadillos
