Mariko and I joined a tour of a couple houses that our architect, realtor, and contractor were inspecting for us. We’re thinking of buying a home in Japan, and the search is on. So excited!
Our Prius was the victim of a catalytic converter theft. Insurance will take care of it, and we’re getting a shield installed as well, but what a hassle. I hate thieves so much.
Mapo tofu is one of my comfort foods! I sprinkled a bunch of Fly By Jing Mala seasoning on it for a little more kick. Yummy!

I was feeling cooped up today, so I went for a long bike ride with Piplup. The temperature at noon was about 92 ° F, which isn’t too hot, but it was enough that the normally crowded hike & bike trail was almost empty. I stayed safe by bringing plenty of water and wearing a white long-sleeve sports shirt to protect myself from the sun. The breeze made for a super-pleasant ride!
